"Better Watch Out"

From 6th April, eu directive 2006/24/EC means that the government will be monitoring every e-mail you send, every friend you make on the ubiquitous Facebook, every mobile phone call you make, every time you log onto this or any other web page.
Does this mean that if I use the word "terror" or "photograph" in an e-mail I shall be investigated?

No, if you want to put something really evil in your emails. try:- Bin lid up, fly tipping, dropped elastic band, wee'd in the bushes, said ...gollywog (Sorry), etc.

Now.....if someone from the local council called at your house every few weeks and said "I'm from the local council and I would like to come in and make a note of what books and magazines you have in your house so that we can keep an eye on what you are reading" perhaps only then would folk take notice of what is happening?
The logging of *all* internet activity is actually worse than that in terms of invasion of privacy.

"Gender-neutral" Language

Using 'Miss' and 'Mrs' has been banned by leaders of the eu because they are not considered politically correct.
Brussels bureaucrats have decided the words are sexist and issued new guidelines in its bid to create 'gender-neutral' language.
A booklet warns European politicians they must avoid referring to a woman's marital status.
This also means Madame and Mademoiselle, Frau and Fraulein and Senora and Senorita are banned.
This is frankly ludicrous. We've seen the eu institutions try to ban the bagpipes and dictate the shape of bananas, but now they seem determined to tell us which words we are entitled to use in our own language.

As I couldn't think of a sheet-music cover to match this story, I'll include a little pic. of my organ bass pipes under contruction instead.

Oh yes......I nearly forgot.

I've did have one put by for today.

"Just One more Kiss"

A railway station has banned kissing after bosses claimed commuters were being delayed by passionate embraces.
Managers put up a ‘No Kissing’ sign, showing two pecking silhouettes within a circle and a red line through them.
Passengers are now prohibited from doing any more than shaking hands while standing in line at the taxi rank outside Warrington Bank Quay Station.

  What                          are
        they                  going
           to do?      Arrest
              the person?
          Force       them
      apart?             How
 pathetic               can you get?

Mr Daniels, chief executive of Warrington Chamber of Commerce you are sad little man who is in good need of living in the real world, or maybe you are just jealous that it's you not getting "any"?
