Had another excellent afternoon at Amersham Museum. Lots of good company, lots of news and of course lots of excellent music.
John Smith, the designer of the "JS 26 note Universal" organ, was there and we had a nice long chat about arranging and the use of MIDI files. He tells me he is going more over to the use of MIDI in the playing of his organs and has decided to hand over the "organ plans" part of his business to his son.
The 46-key Limonaire organ had been moved from the position in the above photo into the main area and was in particularly good 'voice'.
